    L175 Brakes

Curious where is it for sale? I don't see many listed. My 1st Kubota was a L175DT around Middleburgh NY in the late 70's bought from Dave Gaynor in Cherry Valley NY. Great and powerful tractor for the size. Moved up to a 345DT after that - no loader. Then a L3600DT with a loader and now an...

    Yoke OhNo! - Year Unknown - 1980 something M6800

I won't be home for 3 days to take a photo. My PTO shield covers a lot from the top looking down so I really have to get down without an implement hooked to it to see.

    Yoke OhNo! - Year Unknown - 1980 something M6800

Hello - I have a M6800 too. You probably know there are 4 drain plugs for the hydraulic system. I now think I missed one last summer - the smaller one in the center of the bracket that supports a fuel tank. And I don't think it's the lowest point but it did have gunk come out last month when...

M6800 Hydraulics not working in cold 20F. Tractor 20 years old. 1350 hours.

TY. Interesting. Since my tractor sits outside I'm on my 2nd tractor seat that is falling apart. I usually throw a dry feed bag on it before getting on. And when I do water dumps out the bottom of it. I've got to check that vent area under it.

M6800 Hydraulics not working in cold 20F. Tractor 20 years old. 1350 hours.

Follow Up: So far it appears to be just junk in the hydraulic fluid as all hydraulic systems working after changing fluid and filters. Color of oil was not clear. Worked and functioned properly right after the change moving buckets of firewood. Then it sat for 3 days in the cold back down to...

M6800 Hydraulics not working in cold 20F. Tractor 20 years old. 1350 hours.

Engine oil is good. It is 35F today and moved a couple heavy loads of firewood with no problems. Waiting for 5F to give it another test Saturday. The O-rings in-between the steel line sections >. I can't see that joint because of the loader frame there. How are those lines coupled? Nut and...

Kubota tractor hydraulic systems - what brand of chemical is safe to flush tractors to remove water?

Thinking back I was so glad to borrow that set of discs within a mile from my house after not being able to buy a set at a reasonable price I didn't think of anything else. Ironically they didn't even make to my house because of a bad tire. Fortunately another neighbor in-between had a portable...

Thank you for the input. Always Kubota Oil SUDT. I'm thinking I should get Part 050 Orings - break the line and check it out. Lost all hydraulic functions. Steering 1st, loader, F/R Shuttle and 3 pt.

Kubota tractor hydraulic systems - what brand of chemical is safe to flush tractors to remove water?

I doubt completely filled. It's a 70 year old set of Oliver transport disc. A hose was bad on it and I replaced it before hooking up to it. The owner uses it for food plots off a Ford 5000. Both pieces sit outside all year and only get used once late summer. I doubt the Ford tractor has been...

    Hydraulic loss

How cold was it? Any ice or snow packed around underneath the tractor?

Kubota tractor hydraulic systems - what brand of chemical is safe to flush tractors to remove water?

M6800 Gear Shift with a F/R shuttle. There are 4 drain plugs on this tractor. I borrowed a set of transport disc this summer and had trouble getting the lift cylinder to work. Multiple cycling finally got it to work. I now think I got contamination from it.

Has anyone flushed their hydraulic system to remove water? Thank you !
