    My Kubota Cab

Re: My Kubota Cab- AGAIN Well, couple years have passed since building my first KubotaKab for my BX25D, and have since, built a nice cab for a friend's 2501, and another cab for a BX. I had my 25D to the dealer last month for a good service, and bearings in the rear PTO, and the dealer owner...

    Rustoleum recolor.

When I sprayed my homebuilt cab and couple other mods on my BX, I used Rustoleum Industrial Finishes "International Orange"' finding it to be a near perfect match.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I trailered my BX24D to a cousin's place with the loader and backhoe on, he had some septic disposal bed problems, dug u to his tank,(after he had it pumped) dug new set of trenches and laid drainage gravel for him to lay his new pipe, then covered all back over when finished. -Spread some fine...

    Bucket Straightening

With a fear of exactly that happening to the bucket on my BX24D, and fact that the factory cutting edge is only approx. 1/4", I proceeded to attach a carbon steel grader blade as a new cutting edge. Around here, they are readily available for next to free from construction companies and Dept. of...

    Bucket hooks

Admins, please delete if I have duplicated my post, but it fits here plus in a thread regarding Implements. I've been wanting hooks on the FEL bucket of my BX25D since I bought it, and had a couple different ideas of what I did want, but decided to make up double plates, each 5" X 2.5", drilled...

What did you do to your Implement today

OOPS, forgot to post the pix of my hooks. I'll add pix of them now on the bucket when in the garage later.

What did you do to your Implement today

I've been wanting hooks on the FEL bucket of my BX25D since I bought it, and had a couple different ideas of what I did want, but decided to make up double plates, each 5" X 2.5", drilled for two 3/8" bolts. I made up three hooks, two for the outer sides above the cylinder mounting plates, and...

    Tool/storage box options for BX

I'll agree with "Windzer", either the 30 cal. or 50 cal. metal ammo boxes are perfect solution for tools, chain, or anything else on the Kubotas. I buy mine up here in Atlantic Canada from Princess Auto, but I suspect any Army Surplus, Northern Equipment, or even your Tractor Supply stores may...

    Tool Box

Ditto for the Ammo Boxes, I have a smaller 30 cal. Ammo box on my BX, and a 'Fat 50' cal. box on the tongue frame of my trailer, hold any tools I might need, straps, pins, chain, etc. secure, weather-proof. Love them!

    BX Towing 4,000lbs

I regularly use my BX-25D (with Backhoe removed) to maneuver my 12 ft. X 5' dual axle trailer around my yard, especially when I have it loaded with firewood or topsoil, to get it near the area I want to stack the winter wood, around behind my garage, along my garden area, to my woodshed. I have...

    Homebuilt Weight Rack/Box

I've wanted a weight box to counter weight the front loader when I had no other attachment at the rear, and had an idea what I wanted to build. I did post this build in the Attachments/Implements section also, as it seemed to fit there also. I've been collecting all the steel barbell weights...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Couple things this week, used the trailer to bring my BX-25D approx. 15 kms. to pick up a giant Yellow Birch that the local electric company felled on a lady's property which was interfering with their hydro lines. She wanted the tree gone, so used the loader with choke sling and chain to pick...

    Tilling the neighborhood!

I just put the tiller on my BX25D this morning and tilled up my 30' X 50' plot, and also did two of my neighbours that I do yearly, one of his new sections was virgin land that had never been cultivated or planted. First pass was done at barely crawl speed at half depth with throttle at 3000...

    My Kubota Cab

Thanks, Corey. As far as a parts list, It was all scratch-built using 2 lengths of 1" square steel tubing, 3 lengths of 3/4" square tubing, one sheet (4' X 8') 1/16th sheet steel, bought from our local branch steel wholesaler Russel Metals. -All steel was less than $400. The glass, I had...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Last weekend, I removed the 2789 Snowblower from my BX25D, sprayed it down with jig-a-lube, and covered it with tarp, and I received the 1.5" rear Wheel Spacers I had ordered, so removed rear R-4s and installed them and wheels again. Noticable difference in look (stance), and expect the extra 3"...
