    dang the forks are handy

Yes. I bought some inexpensive forks from Amazon and they’re very handy moving logs and many other things.

EDC question ( Asking for a friend)

I don’t carry everyday per se. I keep an AR 15 in my work van very discreetly because I will get home. Mags stored outside the van in one of the tool compartments but accessible if I get out which keeps me legal. When I’m out on my property I keep an H&K VP9 tactical carrying open for anything...

    BX 23 front tires

I’ll look into the Kendas. I believe this little tractor could benefit from some front tires with more plies. Partially why I’m replacing them.

That’s great advice. I’ll call them tomorrow

    BX 23 front tires

I'm almost never on asphalt. Often times gravel. Mostly grass/dirt. There is some tread left but the sidewalls are showing weakness and one of has a leak that is a PITA. I wanted to get it squared away prior to winter.

    BX 23 front tires

So my BX 23 is in need of new front tires. What’s everyone using as a replacement or is it ideal to use what came stock? Seems to me the stockers wore out fairly quickly (350 hrs)

    Broken right rear axle housing

I’m not looking for a bail out but if one comes I’ll take it lol. I’ve always had to pay full rate for my mistakes and this is just another example of that. I still find it hard to believe the rock that caused this was enough. It’s barely out of the ground. I guess the combination of soft loamy...

    Broken right rear axle housing

Thanks for the tip. I’m taking it to the stealership so hopefully if it was a production issue they will do me right.

    Broken right rear axle housing

A rock barely protruding from the ground I believe. That’s where I found the drain plug on the ground. Had to have hit just right. I’m ordering Bro Tek skid plates for future protection.

    Broken right rear axle housing

If it wasn’t a 3 year old machine I’d probably try that route. As bad as it sucks to foot the bill for this I’m going to go forward with the swap. It’s not a good situation as it is. I stillhave to figure it how to get it in the trailer with no power. Luckily I had it in the barn before it laid...

    Broken right rear axle housing

I looked for the missing piece in the hopes I could weld it on but no dice. The hex socket is a great idea to any and all bx owners and I’ll look into that.

    Broken right rear axle housing

Is anyone aware of a skid plate to protect this? Seems like low hanging fruit?

    Pallet Forks

I got a set from Amazon. They fit my bx quick connect perfectly. My only gripe is the forks aren’t adjustable side to side. But for the low price it fit my needs. I’m just moving logs around.

    Broken right rear axle housing

The actual axle cover broke where the oil drain plug screws in. I contemplated a cheaper repair but in the end I want a reliable machine so I felt this was the best route.
