    Other Tractors We Own

My other tractor is an Allis Chalmers D17 Series IV. My uncle bought it new in 1967. I still have the original bill of sale and owner's manual. My son Luke and I restored it a few years ago.

    What lies Beneath!

I also used spray on bed liner on the floor of my B26. Works good. I have also used it on my antique tractors on the floors and also to coat the inside of their tool boxes.

    Rear Blade Operating Advice

I used a rear blade for years to clean snow off of a long gravel driveway in MI. One of the tricks to keep it from digging in is to reverse the blade. That way it's not aggressively digging into the gravel.

    SSQA mod

I fully understand and appreciate the idea of "chaining" the SSQA levers down. Several years ago I had a Kubota M95 with SSQA and a grapple bucket. I was moving heavy logs and numerous brush piles. Without me noticing right away, a branch poked though the tines on the back of the grapple and...

    B26TLB or L3301HST

I have a B26TLB and the backhoe does come off and three point hitch arms get pinned on. It takes me about 30 min to do all of that. With practice and a little more skill that time would drop considerably. The loader isn't meant to come off frequently. The tractor was designed for commercial use...

    Ordering a Tractor?

Back in 2004 I ordered a Kubota L4330 from Williams Equipment in Charlotte, MI. It took about four weeks for them to get it from the distribution center and complete the final assembly. They are a great family owned dealer and offered me a free loaner tractor until mine was ready.

Anyone running Kubota zero turn diesels?

We have a ZD 1211 and are very impressed will it's ruggedness. I do wish they make rear tires with bars for added traction. We have some steep hills around here. We do appreciate the pivoting front axle and the 3 cylinder engine is "bullet proof". My wife loves the 1211 so much she has been...

What were you able to do with your kubota that surprized you?

The contractor quoted $40K in 2017 if he could save the block wall. I spent $20K on the B26 and I have used it since on dozens of projects. I look at tractor house magazine every week to stay current on used equipment prices. I bet that I could still get at least $18K for it, if I wanted to...

    Found some pic's

It's amazing that it can push snow with no weight on the back.

What were you able to do with your kubota that surprized you?

About 4 years ago I received a quote from a contractor, to excavate along one basement wall re-seal it, install footing tile, and back fill with stone. The wall was about 50' long and 8' deep. So I bought a used B26 and dug it out over a weekend. I also had to remove a 16'x20' concrete...

The trailer is rated for 20K. That's why I bought it. The load is heavy for the truck. We wanted to see if it was capable of pulling up a steep grade near our place. It has undergone some recent mods to the engine.
