The rod inside is what won't move. I pulled both caps and besides looking like it had been submerged in water for years there was no damage. I will start looking for a replacement. I imagine it won't be cheap :cry:

I checked everything and the cylinders are good. I found that (I think it's a detent but could be wrong) is the culprit. I removed the cap, lightly tapped on it and it freed up. After just a few movements it froze back up. I'm going to call the dealer this morning to see exactly what parts are...

I'll inspect the cylinders better this afternoon. I didn't notice it last night but that doesn't mean one isn't slightly bent.

I did and they are still connected. I did read about the detent getting stuck but I didn't want to take anything apart until I knew for sure what I was looking for.
