    TG1860G struggles mowing

Reverse issue was resolved with the adjustment of the linkages, mustve vibrated into a point where I couldnt go more than maybe 1 mph backward. Now it pulls hard in reverse and I can go 5 mph backward (though I need to lower that speed)

    TG1860G struggles mowing

Once I can recreate the issue I will try this. I felt like its some situation of vapor lock or lack of fuel, however it often shoots giant plumes of whiter smoke if I turned it off and let it sit and then started it back up again so I am not sure if that relates to this issue.

    TG1860G struggles mowing

Another month, another issue I want to get clarification on! My 1999 TG1860G recently started to have an issue where it would start up fine and mow okay for 15-20 minutes. However after that it may begin to inconsistently start to sputter and lose lots of power. RPM would struggle to climb and...

    Electric PTO Clutch adjustment

I probably should've documented the small process. Took the clutch off and did the .015 gap that you suggested. Bearing is likely still good and I think it didn't shred its plate so we are good! After, sounds are gone for now so it seems all good! Thanks to you guys for helping

    Electric PTO Clutch adjustment

I can consider checking the bearings, but for now I still just need to know what the specification for clearance of the clutch is. No money spent is what Im after!

    Electric PTO Clutch adjustment

Its a metallic screech like metal on metal or something. Doesn't sound like a belt slipping and no smell.

    Electric PTO Clutch adjustment

From what I have found, it is a Xtreme Electromagnetic PTO Clutch #0626. The site to buy it from doesn't have its specifications for the clutch plates though. Is it easy or possible to check and replace the bearing?

    Electric PTO Clutch adjustment

Owner of a TG1860G. What is the clearance of the electric PTO clutch? Couldn't find it anywhere but I might be missing something. I am worried that the clutch is potentially slipping as it makes a screeching stop once it is disengaged.

    TG1860G Hydro

Currently the 323-3000 is quieter than the 312-3000. I think I will change both transaxles oil. H-G says they both take 20W-50 oil so I would probably let both of them drain for a few days and then refill and do all the purging stuff once they are swapped into the mowers. Maybe I can see if I...

    TG1860G Hydro

I've been looking at the 312-3000 compared to the 323-3000 exploded diagrams. It does really seem the only difference is that drain plug. Everything else lines up more or less except for the axle seals. The 312-3000 has a spot that it would look like it would go but its cast over with a...

    TG1860G Hydro

Maybe I could just steal the 323-3000 H-G out of the TG and put it into my other TG with the 312-3000 since the 312 TG is the one I actually use while the 323 TG is in much worse condition but still a good mower (minus the KRA that doesn't work so I cant back up while mowing with it)

    TG1860G Hydro

Could you send a link? I have been searching for one for a while now and still can't find one without just buying a service manual for the whole mower (which I plan on doing)

    TG1860G Hydro

    The 323-3000 has a plug while the 312-3000 doesn't.

    TG1860G Hydro

As far as research I have currently done, the 312-3000 should be the original. I have already tried to find any service manuals for the transaxle and the closest would be the 310-3000 but no exact match. H-G site shows nothing for me! As far as I am concerned, the only visual difference is...
