Bulldog are you talking output shaft on the tractor? I would hope something on the cutter would break before that would bend. Thanks for the info every one.

I'm going to start with the blades. I don't have another shaft. The shaft still goes together real smooth.What could be wrong with the tractor to cause this. The PTO stub looks fine?

Russell its the shaft from the tractor to the gearbox that is wobbling, just not spinning true like it was . I think a blade may be bent.

Thanks Blondie I hooked it back up today and at PTO speed the shaft is wobbling pretty bad. I just hope it didn't damage the tractor when it stalled it. All seems to be ok other than the vibration.

Re: Bush Hog Question It is new land pride bush hog. I think it has a sheer pin and slip clutch. Everything seemed to be working fine other than a little vibration

While bush hogging with my new 2501 today I hit a hidden stump and it stopped the cutter and shut the tractor down. I fired everything back up and everything worked. Is there likely any damage to the tractor, pto etc.
