    2017 L3901 HST stalling issue

I went through something very similar with my L3901. Turns out that my square o-ring at the top of the bowl of the fuel separator had a cut in it. I replaced it with a round o-ring, and have not had any issues. Take a look at your o-ring to see what condition it is in. Mine looked okay, until...

    L3901 dies suddenly

Another (non)update - tractor still has not died on me. For now I am just going to rack it up to junk in the water separator, cut o-ring on separator that was replaced, and incomplete bleeding that took awhile to get all the air out.

    Compatibility of Kubota fluids

That became a moot point. After half an hour trying to get me grapple on to the CLT (measure the QA, measure the backplate - yes it is the right size, repeat) I discovered that the hydraulic cylinder for the QA locks on the CLT hits 3 of the tines of the back of the grapple. So this grapple...

    Compatibility of Kubota fluids

True, but the majority of the attachments go out connected to one of their skid steers so most (not all) of the fluid is the 64HD. But it is probably not a concern.

    Compatibility of Kubota fluids

Thanks for the info! I have sent an email with the question on the intermixing of the fluids to that email. I'll let everyone here know if I get a response.

    Compatibility of Kubota fluids

I've been considering this scenario (except in reverse). There is a Sunbelt rentals about a mile from work where I can rent all sorts of skid steer attachments for a week at a time. $3-400 per week sure beat buying and storing $10-20K attachments, and they do all the maintenance. The difference...

    Compatibility of Kubota fluids

I have both a tractor - L3901 HST with loader and backhoe and a track loader SVL65-2. The tractor uses SUDT for its hydraulics, while the CTL uses 46HD. I have one implement that I would like to share between both (grapple) but I am concerned about the intermixing of the fluids. I asked the...

How on monitor RPM on SVL65?

Talked to the dealer today, and verified there is no rpm indication on the machine, nor is there an option to purchase one. He said to do that by ear, and if there ever was a problem, the machine is under warranty. Hope he remembers if/when there is an issue!

    L3901 dies suddenly

Just to let everyone know that I haven't forgotten the advice; I just haven't run the tractor long enough to get it to die on me. Apparently an hour is not long enough.

How on monitor RPM on SVL65?

The dial sets the minimum engine speed. Then the foot pedal adds to that.

How on monitor RPM on SVL65?

I kept the throttle (rotating dial) at less than half, but there is also a foot throttle you can press while pushing the bucket into dirt piles, or scraping from the road in front of you. That's the part where I worry that you could push it while in the first 50 hours. It does have air...

How on monitor RPM on SVL65?

That's what I did this last weekend. Engine is very quiet, and behind me - do I just want to make sure I don't push it accidentally.

How on monitor RPM on SVL65?

Just purchased an SVL65-2, and was using it this past weekend. The owner's manual states not to use full load / rpm for the first 50 hours. How do you monitor the RPM on these machines? Searched the operator's manual, and did not see how this is accomplished.

    SSV75 (and SSV65) Maintenance

Just got my SVL65 today - I'll be watching the thread.

    L3901 dies suddenly

I'll talk to the dealer and schedule a time to drop it off. I just bought an SVL65-2 from him (was just delivered a couple of hours ago, so I will have something to take over the dirt moving duties while the L3901 is out of service.
