I just got off the tractor the Shear bolt lost the war vs a small rock. 2nd day and shear bolt is gone I need to buy a few of them I guess no more tractorn till Monday. I thought she was on fire when the bolt broke it smoked a bunch.

I like the m7040 I almost bought a used one in January for 35,000.00 with loader and 4 other implements. It had 500 hours it looked great, but I went home to think about it and it sold. I ended up with the mx5800hst.

One thing I hate so far about the tractor is the seat. It bottoms out every few seconds and Is giving me mini concussions and whiplash. I need to figure out a better shock system and new seat or something. I need a hans device to keep my head in place.

Yes its a 72 inch I just mowed with it and 1st gear is way to slow, my junky john Deere rider is just as fast. But the grass was over 2 feet tall so i went slow ill mow again in a week and try to do midrange when its not so long. I might end up just discing most of it

I was on my porch in 1st picture. Put 6 hours on it yesterday its nice but Much slower then I had hoped. The guy said you can only mow in 1st gear of hst, 1st gear seems awful slow, I was hoping it would mow faster to cut down my mow times.
