    Kx71-3 possible hydraulic issue

If you are concerned about hydraulics having it lift itself is not a good test, have a tech put a gauge on it to see if its within specs. If digs and lifts full buckets with no effort it should be ok. With only 1800 hrs it should be fine. Check out log book of PO for hydraulic filters hr change...

    Rust on Hydralic Cylinder

Paul, Thanks for good info ,now I have a question if a seal is leaking is it ok just to replace the seal? My excavator drips in summer when warm on the arm cylinder... cylinder works just great. Hate spending $200.00 for a Kubota seal kit if I can get by with just a seal. just to confirm a wiper...

    B7510 Temperature Guage

My excavator has same problem, normal operation for it is on "C" , Seems like after the first year or so Kubota would note that they might be having a temp gauge reading problem but this has gone on for years. and replacing sender/gauge is a waste of money/time.

    Has anyone used this?

With only 12 hrs you should have no need for this tool,as other posts stated it will work for old caked or hard to fill zerks. Adding fluid could be considered normal if it was a cold day when you checked it, temp will cause fluid to vary. If you have no leaks and if you fill to top on cold...

KX 91-2 Excavator Arm No hydraulic pressure

Now's the time for a set of manuals. I think its in your valve bank. when you move the joy stick it controls a valve in the valve bank which moves a hydraulic cylinder . So to keep it simple if you have hydraulic pressure (which you have since machine moves) Something has failed in control...

    Kubota engine overhaul advice

I was talking to local Kubota dealer about rebuilding engines..."they do not rebuild in house" Was told it was about $2500-3000 for the D1105 for new eng from kubota with warranty . How does that compare with a local rebuild?

    kubota KX61-3

IF you just rebuilt the ram you may have air in system. you need to bleed off air.

Need a Shop Mechanic / Technican (EXCAVATOR)

I do understand what you are saying, but there are times when you can not see the thumb or cylinder flex such as when picking up a load of brush, limbs etc. Did talk to local dealer and they said the thumb should be set 200-300 lbs less than bucket pressure that would allow the bucket to over...

    KX-71-3 300 Hour Service

Never have blown a hose.. so far. But I have bent a bucket pin, the pressure to thumb should be less than bucket. the bucket should over power the thumb. Not so much changing the oil as the filter its a tight fit best to remove some of the shields to get to it. Keep porcupines away from it they...
