Thought I would update this thread. Tore the motor down and it had a broken piston ring and messed up the cylinder bore. The rest of the motor was in great shape. I guess just bad luck. Replaced the sleeve in the bad cylinder, new rings and stuff. Put it all back together and its back in...

Success! After about 100 times of trying to slip the shaft into place, I got out the borescope and looked in. The coupler had come loose and was sitting in there. I fed a magnet in and fished it out. Tapped the coupler back on the shaft tight and it slipped right into place. Made my night...

Belt came off my mx6000 with less than 50hrs on it. I figured it wasn't tight enough or a bad/cheap belt. Maybe something came up and jammed it? Replaced the belt, and haven't had another issue in about 125hrs. Spec for the belt is pretty tight.

Got it split today. It fought me pretty hard, but I prevailed. I am going to clean up, reorganize and remove the motor tomorrow. I should have backed the tractor into the shop, so my engine hoist could roll in easier. Shop manual is a good guide, but not complete for sure.
