Land Pride RCR 1860 - odd pin for top link ?

It is unfortunate your hands are failing you; I hope they improve of at least stabilize. I cannot help you with the measurements; the tractor and implements are at our property in north Georgia - about 250 miles from our home. If you do not have a slip clutch (like me), you might try to find...

Land Pride RCR 1860 - odd pin for top link ?

I have an RCR 1860 and a LP QH10. It probably took me 15 minutes to hook up the PTO the first time, but now I routinely seat the PTO shaft in 30-45 seconds. The key for me was learning where to stand during the process. I stand on the right side (right handed) of the mower deck in contact...

Has anyone found a BH77 Seat Cover?

FWIW, I contacted Cover Craft about a seat cover for my LX2610 SU (they have covers for the non-SU models with the better seat, the SU seat is like a Standard L). They asked for dimensions and photos, and they responded with their closest fit model. I bought it, and it fits very well.

Rubber or Chain guards on Rotary Cutter

I would think either would be fine. I have an RCR 1860 with rubber, and after 4 years and reclaiming 12+ acres of really overgrown fields the skirt is in great shape. To the best of my knowledge, it has stopped everything (rocks, gravel, limbs, boards, PVC pipe and who knows what else) from...

    Hard starting LX2610

First, I am not a mechanic; however, I doubt your glow plugs are the source of your problem. I would think that a glow plug problem would be indicated by prolonged use of the starter - not the engine dying after starting (presuming only normal use of the starter to achieve ignition). I would...

    Hard starting LX2610

Just to cover some basic questions. Did you change the fuel filter at 50 hrs? When you say the fuel level was at 2 bars, how long was the fuel kept mostly empty (you have low hours, if the tank is not kept full condensation can form regardless of how new the fuel is)?

    Slip clutch

For a different perspective, I have a slip clutch on my rotary cutter (LP RCR1860), and it has been great. In over 4 years of periodically reclaiming several fields, I have never had to stop work after hitting some hidden obstruction, and I have hit a few things (buried deep in briar patches...

    L vs LX

FWIW, since you do not need a mid-PTO, the LX SU does not have a mid-PTO or the upgraded seat (plus some other small items - the seat and the other small items minus tilt wheel can be added to the LX SU). However, the LX SU does have the more comfortable loader control stick position (by your...

    Pneumatic Vs Cordless

I was looking at Torque Multipliers, before I bought the Ryobi that I posted above. A decent one, like the Neiko Pro, was the same cost as the Ryobi. Which was still reason to consider the multiplier for the more accurate torquing during reattachment. However, I saw several tests using...

    Pneumatic Vs Cordless

For the money and the power, I bought the Ryobi 1/2 inch impact wrench. If you use a 6 Ah or above battery, you will have 700+ removal and 450+ install power. Check out the Torque Test channel youtube for tests/ratings of all types of cordless. An example...

    Thoughts or advise

Obviously, wear gloves. These are the best that I have found to prevent punctures and cuts with good dexterity and not hot: https://www.hexarmor.com/products/rig-lizard-2028x $35 at Amazon. I recently wrestled 20-30 feet of barbwire out of very heavy brush without any injuries, despite often...

    Gloves

Rig Lizard Gloves from Hex Armor $35 - cut/puncture/impact resistant The topic of gloves comes up from time to time. I bought these gloves to protect me from thorns and brambles, but they are much more than upgraded gardening gloves. First, they are surprisingly soft and flexible with very...
