    Chainsaw Mount

I like the basket option. It seems more versatile.

    Bxpanded fork

Another update. They sent not only new clips but new brackets. Still, the clips loosen after maybe 30 minutes of use. Also, the holes on one of the forks elongated making the fork a bit wobbly Now I am cutting up and moving large downed trees on my property, so the forks are doing heavy work...

    Bxpanded fork

Quick update. I did reach out to bxpanded on this. The tech guy called me to discuss and said they have been making adjustments in their clips including harder metal, and he was sending me these and new brackets cause he thought mine looked compromised. So kudos to bx for making the effort...

    Bxpanded fork

I got the bxpanded tooth bar and flat bar for my bx23 a few years ago and really like them. I also got the forks, and while i like how easy they go on, i don’t think the clips that hold them on are worth much. I just put a new set on this weekend. They went on tight, but they loosened up...

Pros and cons of snow removal options

Depends where you live. Here in northern Connecticut, we used to get 12” snow on a regular basis and it would stay through the winter. Now it’s rare to get that much, and when we do, it’s too warm to stay, and it gums up my snowblower, so i just added a straight blade to my bucket and don’t...

    Quick yoke malfunction

Yes, that’s why the hosting is dinged up a bit because i thought I had it on but then it came loose, smacked the transmission filter and broke it. It’s an awkward connection to make, over the mower deck. I ended up driving the back of the tractor up in some car ramps to get underneath to get a...

    Quick yoke malfunction

I sprayed it with brake cleaner, soaked it in gas, then sprayed it real good with the brake cleaner again. It did clean up, and was easier to work, but I still could not get it in the pto shaft enough to lock it on , with my hands. The housing is kind of banged up. I was able to lever it in...

    Quick yoke malfunction

    That sounds like a plan.

    Quick yoke malfunction

Break cleaner I can do. Any tips on disassembly?

    Quick yoke malfunction

The quick yoke to my mower deck is not working well, if at all. I can’t get the mower shaft connected to the pto because the ball bearings won’t all collapse at the same time. When I pull back the outside housing it doesn’t seem to seat properly. New parts are $350. Anyone with a suggestion...

    No juice to the starter

It took me two months to attempt this. We’ve had such rainy weather every time I wanted to try this. First sunny day when I had time and it took only about 45 minutes to swap out the cables. The tractor fired up right away. Thanks, wolfman!

    No juice to the starter

Ordered all new cables. Turns out there are actually two ground cables. One from the battery post and another small one off the starter

    No juice to the starter

    I’ll start with that. Thanks.

    No juice to the starter

Oops, here’s the positive on the starter.

    No juice to the starter

The main looks ok. The 20 amp fuse under the ignition looked like it might be bad and that’s the one I changed and then heard a pop when I tried again. The three 15 amp fuses looked fine but I changed them anyway. Here are pictures of the cable ends: Negative And positive
