Spindle or shaft needed for Woods 348K mower

I talked to Messicks on the phone, they can no longer get them. The person on the phone checked all their stores inventory and even called Woods, discontinued and no longer available.

Spindle or shaft needed for Woods 348K mower

I had a shaft strip out in the pulley on one of the spindles on my woods 348 belly mower. Parts are discontinued. Anyone have a spindle or even a good shaft laying around. Also, any info on an alternative replacement would be helpful.

B5100, would like to find more attachments

The loader you barely see in the one pic is the FEL on my Ford 2n. The other garden tractor is a 1968 sears with a 10hp tecumseh motor. That sears will be up for sale. Just have to many projects and don't have any attachments at all for that one.

B5100, would like to find more attachments

Made up the 3 point drag today. Had a 3 point hitch set up laying around, same with the drag so I combined them to make this. (See pics)

B5100, would like to find more attachments

I have a 2n to run a bush hog. I'm mainly thinking a snowblower of some sort (the one for this tractor is hard to find) maybe a small (36"-42") tiller. I have plans for small 3-point spike drag for it. Wouldn't mind a small PTO driven 4-point sickle bar either. I have a Woods 348K51 belly...

B5100, would like to find more attachments

I think that was a certain model or group of models. I don't believe it applies to all the small Kubota tractors though. Pretty sure mine rotates the "correct" way.

Oh ok, gotcha. I get what your saying now. Thanks for the explanation.

B5100, would like to find more attachments

Yes it does have the 3 point lift arms with top link. Not sure what you mean by turning the lower pins to the inside though.

B5100, would like to find more attachments

If I'm not mistaken the rear PTO is 10hp, engine is 12hp, it's a 2 cylinder diesel. I did find a small spike drag at an auction, it approximately 3ft wide by 5ft long. I also have a home built 3 point mount that I'm going to attach the drag to so I can use it behind the tractor. I'll keep my...

B5100, would like to find more attachments

So I have a B5100E, 2wd. It has the 3 point and PTO in rear. I would like to find more attachments for it such as a snow blower (single stage or 2 stage) and possibly a tiller for the rear. I love the tractor and would like to use it for more than just mowing the lawn. It has a Woods 348 (48")...

    JD snowblower on B5100E

Thanks for the input. Those supports would be a very good idea. As far as the belt rotation, yes it matches in direction. RPM might be a problem if the blower was driven at 3600 rpm, I believe the governor on the diesels is set at about 3k I think?

    JD snowblower on B5100E

Both valid points. That's why I wanted some opinions. I don't know for sure if there is any speed change through the gear box. The drive pulley on the tractor and driven on the blower are different sizes which would alter speed slightly. I also did consider mounting the blower closer to the...

    JD snowblower on B5100E

This is my idea for the belt drive routing. Any thoughts? Will it work? Thanks for any input.

    JD snowblower on B5100E

So I managed to aquire a 44" JD snowblower for next to nothing. It's a belt driven 2 stage blower with a quick detach hitch. Got to looking at it and the clutch drive pulley on the front of my b5100 which normally runs my 48" woods belly mower. I think I can make this work. I have fabricated...
