    Just a paint question

Saw a Mazda suv recently in machinery gray. Touched up my “White” snowblower a while ago using gray primer and clear coat. The closest match I could find.

    L2350dt retrofitting a BL4690b backhoe

Here is the bracket that I made to hold my pumps. One on my splitter and the other on my BH. I can adjust the nuts on top so that there is minimal downward weight on the pto extension. The upper part of the bracket has a sleeve that uses the lower pin location of the 3ph bracket. The guard...

    Maybe this year?

I considered putting in a nice garden but figured that by the time I built fencing to keep out the bountiful deer population that I would be 125 years old by the time I broke even with the cost of everything.

    Maybe this year?

Have blossoms as well on some apple and wild pear trees this year. Last year nothing. Even the common walnut trees were bare. Too bad you can't eat black walnuts as we still had lots of them.

    Why are trucks so big?

Everyone’s use is different. I have had large vans as well and just have no desire to have a huge vehicle with the smaller parking lot spaces as well as difficulty parking in an average garage.

    Why are trucks so big?

I have been asked numerous times over the years why I have never owned a pickup truck considering all the construction work I have done. I have always had a larger suv along with a tandem trailer. A lot more versatile than just a pickup. Hard to haul two tons of gravel or 20 foot lvl’s in a pickup.

My condolences as well. I had a coworker pass away a few years ago with als. Very sad as it destroys the body but not the mind.

    10-30 0il question

When I first got my B7200 in the 1980's I used regular automotive oil for the first couple of oil changes as it was also good for "light diesel engines". Not sure if that is the case now or even if a Kubota engine could be called "light". Have consistently used proper diesel oil since then.

Replacing hydrostatic oil in my John Deere 345.

Just wondering if anyone knows what alternative hydro oil I could use in my John Deere 345. Seems that there is not much special about it. My Ariens zero turn takes a synthetic engine oil in the hydro. All the Deere dealers are a bit of a drive but if there is any doubt in the oil, I will...

    Who makes batteries

Battery life seems to be a crap shoot. Had a couple of battery’s go bad after 6 months and yet the original in my John Deere 345 lasted an unbelievable 17 years.

    Who makes batteries

I remember talking to one of our suppliers many years ago where I use to work. He also use to work at a battery factory here in Canada. He said that there were very few companies that actually manufactured batteries for the various brands. For the various grades of batteries that Canadian Tire...

    Grapple Claw storage?

I just screwed an appropriately sized sheet of plywood onto one of those cheap larger four wheeled dolly's and placed the grapple tines down and partially open. Works great and not too wide.

    Snowblower advice needed

I do not have any option but to take a full width cut on my 4000-foot driveway. Only used the blower once all winter but it was after a substantial snowfall. I could have walked faster with a walker in some areas.

    Snowblower advice needed

Since you have HST, any width wider than the tires will work. Your speed will be determined by the depth and consistency of the snow.
