    Fuel for ZD21

500 ppm diesel for non-road, locomotive and marine use will be available at least through 2014. Small refineries are allowed to produce all they need. I suppose whether they do or not depends on local market and demand. Check with your fuel supplier.

    Fuel for ZD21

I'm not sure what year this machine is. I bought it in March of 2007 with 30 hours on it. This is back when all diesel had sulphur adequate for fuel system lubricity. I always run low sulphur (500 ppm) off road fuel in this engine but when I order fuel this year, my driver will have to go to a...

    ZD21 torque settings

Thanks Stumpy. That sounds reasonable. I can't imagine how much torque was needed to break those puppies loose. I'm happy the bottom of the transmission case didn't come out with the plug. That one and the strainer were seriously tight. I do have some generic torque info in my operators manual...

    ZD21 torque settings

    SCA and ZD21

Perhaps I should rephrase my question. Does anybody here know what a supplemental cooling additive is and if so, do you use it in your Kubota diesel to prevent cavitation?

Should I be using a supplemental cooling additive (like Wixcool/DCA4/FW-16) in this lil Kubota engine? Don

    Hello

Hi and thanks for the reply Ron. Ultimately, I suspect something is faulty with the overtemp warning system because I covered the radiator and ran it up to the point I figured the alarm should go off. It didn't. Am I correct to assume a fault either has to be the warning horn itself, the...

    Hello

I'm in my fourth year with a ZD21 and 60" Pro deck. It's right at 280 hours and has been a fine and economical and agreeable machine (except for the safety interlock system). My engine had a little encounter with a stick the other day which stripped off the fan belt and removed the little...
