    B6200D / KBF200 FEL Project

Amazingly the new brake shoes arrived in UK in 3 days from Traktor Parts in Poland. Good quality but the springs were a bit slack so I drilled one new hole on each shoe which tightened things up just waiting for circlips to arrive before reassembly also spent time freeing up the pedal pivot...

    B6200D / KBF200 FEL Project

All lighting connections re terminated. Fuses and fuse holders replaced and nearly all the electrics sprung to life. Now outstanding is horn ( needs new button switch ) hour meter and tacho. decided to move on to the seized left brake pedal. I had suspected that the pivot arm had seized in the...

    B6200D / KBF200 FEL Project

Starting to explore the electrical system. I decided that getting the lights working would be a good step forward. But of course there were some challenges. Firstly before even starting I spent hours trying to find replacement headlamps that are 5 inches wide and 2 inches high. This proved to be...

    B6200D / KBF200 FEL Project

A new acquisition and my first tractor. There is a ton of work to get her baselined and reliable. thought I would document the activity in case it helps someone in the future and more likely, to ask for help! I would like to keep it operational for as long as possible, but as I have just found...

The oil is due to be changed. The PO used UDT which is hard to get here. Is Super UDT an acceptable substitute please?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Replaced the twelve zirk fittings (grease nipples) on my KBF200 FEL today. No dramas. One blocked but cleaned out ok. These were all 11mm straight. I will need to list all the others on the tractor and will need to order those in as some are right angled etc. The plan is to change them all for...

Indeed it is beautiful and hilly @12251hd. Glad you have seen it and regard it so. Thankfully our little bit is a relatively flat plot running adjacent to a stream, but yes, I have already noticed the tippyness!! I have been spraying and tapping the left brake linkage which may have freed up...

Just had a look at the rear wheel markings which have 2 91 stamped on them. May this be February 1991 by any chance? if so the post 1989 orange should be a safe bet?

Thats a good tip @Runs With Scissors, i could take a part of the right colour and get some made up. I like how the back looks do only want to paint the engine cover and FEL but will need to touch up here and there if i cut out some of the rusty sections on the rear fenders 👍

For paint matching , is there a cutoff year for the two different shades of orange? And how could i tell what year my tractor was made? Is there a resource where i can key in the serial number to identify it?

Thanks Hugo, I have managed to source all genuine filters, a new pull to stop and decompression lever plus a bag full of new zirk fittings. A comprehensive service manual is on its way. I decided to spend the day on the electrics. I removed the hood to get access to the headlamps which are quite...
