    Dead B2650

My B2650 would not restart too. I tried lube as well as adjusting the HST pedal switch, but the mechanism was bad and no amount of adjustment would fix the problem. My Kubota dealer came out and replaced the mechanism at no charge (less than a year old, 80 hours). Now have 150 hours, no...

Comparing the U25S to U35-4, some strange things

Jfet and Flienlow -- I'd appreciate hearing your experiences operating both machines. I plan to rent a U25S or U35 this summer from the rental yard in Snohomish to excavate for a large rain garden, several culverts and a few other projects on our 20 acres. Just don't have the need to buy one...

    another thread. B3350 buy back.

I've been following your trials and tribulations with the B3350, and got delivery of my B2650 two months ago. I thought I would miss the power of my former L3400, but as many others have said the B2650 is a very capable tractor. In my first 20 hours I have lifted and relocated many large...

When and how often does Kubota change model designations?

Just got a GR2120-2 last month, 15 hours so far, great mower. Your dilemma reminds me of my car search the last few years. Just when I was about to pull the lever on a new 2015 Subaru Outback, Subaru came out with the 2016 model with a few more improvements. Were the improvements worth the...

    riding mower lift recommendations?

Thanks for the reply. After doing a lot more research it looks like this is the same as a Pro-Lift model. Interestingly, it is about the same price whether it has Pro-Lift or Kubota stickers. Looks like a solid, safe design. I'll see what my LKD (local Kubota dealer) says.

    riding mower lift recommendations?

Got a GR 2120 last month, great mower. Took off the deck yesterday to inspect blades and locate the center grease fitting. While removing the deck is straightforward, I wonder if getting a mower lift system would be better for accessing the deck -- especially for cleaning it of accumulated...

    Drop hitch for tractor?

Based on earlier responses it sounds like you want just one simple attachment. Depending on the tongue weight of what you want to tow, one approach is to weld up a simple ball mount of the correct height that you could bolt below the tow bar (could be welded and stacked 2 inch square tubing)...

    Size of implements?

Good observations, but there are other advantages. After our pending move to Washington I'll start a new thread on flail mowers (advantages and disadvantages) along with pictures. I use my flail to chop up orchard prunings and piles of leaves, and have the opposing knives rather than the "duck...

    Size of implements?

I also have an L3400. My equipment is listed in my avatar, which will be updated in a few weeks with new equipment. 5-foot Rears flail mower is a perfect fit. Also have Gannon hydraulic scraper (5 feet, I think), 6-foot Rhino landscape blade for road drainage maintenance, and a 58-inch BEFCO...

Looking for a trailer for BX23

I agree entirely. I tow our 16-foot double axle equipment trailer with a 2007 Tacoma Double Cab, and they are a good combo. I have a brake controller on the Tacoma and brakes on both axles, and haul firewood in addition to my L3400 and implements (not all at the same time!). Since my trailer...

    New GR 2120 mower

We are soon moving to Snohomish, WA. Was there the past few days and discovered the guy who did the mowing of our 8 acres of "lawn" decided to quit without telling us. A quick trip to a local Kubota dealer resulted in delivery a few hours later of a new GR 2120. I had already negotiated to...

    B2650 pending purchase, hydraulics

rtgt -- thanks for the comments. I may get the Kubota dealer to install OEM rear remotes and I'll figure out the third function later. The Artillian third function seems a better design. Fit Rite also looks like a great source for the TNT cylinders. Like all my other tractors, I'll do this a...

    B2650 pending purchase, hydraulics

We are soon moving from northern California to Snohomish, WA. After lurking on this site for several years and considering what we will need a tractor for, we've decided to purchase a B2650. Our L3400 will stay with the new owner of our ranch in California along with my JD450C. As to...

Cannot remove grease gun from fittings

Ordered my LockNLube through Amazon late afternoon on June 10, delivered June 13. Works perfectly, and comes with extra parts to rebuild head (extra insert and jaws). Just ordered another one for my father-in-law.

Cannot remove grease gun from fittings

Just ordered mine yesterday after reading this thread. I regularly get my grease gun head stuck on my L3400 loader, and occasionally on my flail mower grease fittings (FYI my dealer says the most common replacement part they sell for flail mowers is not the knives, it is the bearings since...
