    thanks for the info, wondering if i could strip down to a short block and use my fuel pump, head, oil pan and so on, guess i'm asking if the block would be same outside as mine.

    I have an l2900 tractor with D1503 engine with hole in side of block, was wondering if it's possible to install a D1703-M-BG engine from a generator into this tractor? Any info would be appreciated
