Start with the fuse for the fuel shut-off solenoid. If the fuse is ok then check the wire connections at the starter and at the solenoid. If ok ohm the solenoid to see if it failed.

Does your machine have an electric feed pump to push fuel to the fuel pump? My BX has one under the floor board and clicks when the key is on.

Follow the manual during warranty. 50 is not just a number. Gears and bearing need time to wear in and mesh. Don't get in a hurry. The manufacturer put that oil in there for a reason and specified 50hrs for a reason.

My BX2200 does every task I have put to it. Cleared brush, large rocks, roto-tilling new lawn, pushing snow, mowing grass and pulling a drag harrow. With only 900hrs if not neglected or abused it is a steal.
