so, i am working in VERY dusty conditions, which is why I want my phone and gun under cover, but within reach.

Just hit hardware store. Small plastic toolbox with a tray to hold phone and gun. Room for 4? cans beer and ice or ice pack. Will drill two holes in the bottom to let the melted ice drain out. We'll secure with just two stainless bolts through the fendor.

I am thinking of velcro-ing a small igloo cooler to my left fender, just to put my 45, a couple of beers, and a cell phone in. My velcro plan seems kinda lame, so I figured I would check here to see what others have done. Pics always help!

It was seriously hard enough to move that the rod flexed a bit, and I was afraid something might break. Glad it was an easy fix and I didn't have to dig deep to find the problem.

Of course I did. But thanks for the warning, in case I didn't know how lock nuts work.

FIXED! It just needed those two nuts at the bottom of the throttle linkage to be loosened just a bit.

Over the past year, the throttle handle has gotten harder and harder to move. The tractor is only a year old. I am not at the location where the tractor currently is, but plan on being out there in a couple of weeks. Where should I start to explore to find out where the tightness is coming...

Looks like a setup similar to what you have. I bought it all as a set. But mine is 2502. Hitch is QH16. This is as far forward as i can tilt it without the hitch hitting the taillights when i raise it. Notice that the inside/forward blade doesn't touch the ground.
