The blades are each held on by 1 bolt. They thread normal, no reverse threads. I have never had this thing working.

I got this mower with the tractor when i purchased it but it was in pieces with "all the parts"....I'm quite certain now that i have the wrong idler pulley. It has to be a B groove. The blades do turn counter clockwise.
