B6000E brush Hog??? Who has experience with this??

No sir. With respect, those choices are not relevant to the specific scenario i'm inquiring about....anyone who has a b6000E or has done even a very miniscule amount of research into running attachments on it knows about the counter clockwise turning pto, and the rare pto reversers with their...

B6000E brush Hog??? Who has experience with this??

Looking for any info on running a brush hog on a B6000E. Counter Clockwise turning 10 Pto shaft. Does anyone have experience adapting to a standard 6 spline? Or replacing the 6 spline yoke with a 10 spline??? I'm wanting to get a 4' brush hog and possibly run it in reverse or sharpen to backs or...

Could I damage the PTO by doing this?

I know this is a very old thread but if Big Trees has anymore info on how that brush hog performs on the B6000E?? Is it a normal clockwise rotating brush hog just running reverse? Are the blades flipped?? And what type (# of splines) of pto does your B6000E have? I'm thinking of getting a small...

B6000E bogging down under any load especially with my pto/belt driven woods belly mower (304k)

So i took all the lines off cleaned them out, flushed the tank with clean fuel, replaced both fuel filters, but the most important step i think was blowing out the electric fuel pump. It had some junk that blew out of it so i suspect this was my main issue. She's running great now and the fuel...

B6000E bogging down under any load especially with my pto/belt driven woods belly mower (304k)

The bowl style filter is still used in some modern Kubotas. I called a local dealer just today and they have a bunch in stock for less than $5. I'm replacing both the bowl filter and the inline filter with brand new one. On the air filter thing someone please explain the operation of it more...

B6000E bogging down under any load especially with my pto/belt driven woods belly mower (304k)

B6000E bogging down under any load especially with my pto/belt driven woods belly mower (304k)

I have a b6000E with 304k woods belly mower. About a month ago i ran it low on fuel and it got air in the lines which i had to of course bleed out. After replacing one leaky hose and getting the fuel running back through to the injetor pump (i assume) she finally starting pushing fuel through...

    B6000E woods 304K belly mower-Need Help!

Yes it will all line up with the top groove of the double pulley if i flip the outer pulleys. I don't believe a 72" belt would work. I measured 80" and that was with pretty good tension on it. And if I'm doing a 5/8 belt i'd say it will have to be just a tiny bit longer to alot for the extra...

    B6000E woods 304K belly mower-Need Help!

If i have a normal flat pulley (for the back of the belt) as the tension pulley it should work as intended. But to be clear- you said the outside pulleys, the tension pulley, and lower groove of the double pulley should be run inline with each other? The tension pulley sits further up off the...

    B6000E woods 304K belly mower-Need Help!

The blades are each held on by 1 bolt. They thread normal, no reverse threads. I have never had this thing working.

    B6000E woods 304K belly mower-Need Help!

I got this mower with the tractor when i purchased it but it was in pieces with "all the parts"....I'm quite certain now that i have the wrong idler pulley. It has to be a B groove. The blades do turn counter clockwise.

    B6000E woods 304K belly mower-Need Help!

Won't this work? It appears to be a mirror image of Dave_eng's. Maybe reverse rotation? When you put the red belt on, the tensioner should move as shown in purple (this is the first time I've tried to insert an image so I hope it works) That looks like the route that would work but i'm really...

    B6000E woods 304K belly mower-Need Help!

The belt i had originally is completely wrong, it's way too long, it says B172 on it i believe. The website did not have my mower listed in the diagrams. The belt routing diagram you shared a picture of doesn't look like it could be for mine, all my pulleys seem to use the v side of the belt...
