    MX5800 50hr Maintenance

Hopefully the one with the magnet drains slowly! I'm sure I'll need to wipe the magnet off good.

    MX5800 50hr Maintenance

I'm picking away at the 50hr maintenance on my MX5800 as I get time. I changed the engine oil and filter today. I still have the filter for the HST and the hydro's, plus a jug of hydro fluid for whatever I spill. Manual states to only replace those two filters and not the fluid. My dealer...

    Snowblowers? Front vs Rear

I do have a FEL, but I personally don't like to run plows like most people do I run my blade backwards than 99% of people, so I am pushing snow with the rounded side. That way when I go over a crack in the driveway, onto grass, etc, the blade floats up and over and doesn't dig into the ground...

    Snowblowers? Front vs Rear

I don't like to admit it, but I'm leaning towards the rear mount now. Two reasons: 1) Cost, even though I know the front mount would be nice 2) Wife gave me the OK on the rear mount now, but not the front (cost) So I wait and get a front mount in a year or two, or get the rear mount now. If...

    Snowblowers? Front vs Rear

For some reason I was thinking my drive was longer and after watching videos on the amount of snow these things can handle, I think I will go rear mount. Used? Land Pride? (Kubota owned & with 0% @ 24 months) or brand....?

    Snowblowers? Front vs Rear

Trying to decide what my best route is and the best deal. I have a 2013 B3200 with only 110 hours on it. I have a little over 200 ft of driveway in the country. The last 3 winters I've gotten by on using a 72" blade on my 3 point to push snow. But we really haven't had a lot of heavy wet...

    2013 B3200 Won't Crank

Looks like this is my issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvxjsaKeXCw

    2013 B3200 Won't Crank

I tried that, roughly. I didn't slowly move the pedal or anything. I just moved the pedal with my foot and then tried to put it in "neutral" by hand, where it felt like it was centered.

    2013 B3200 Won't Crank

I was using my B3200 today, HST to move dirt around with the bucket. Low hour tractor, 108 hours. Shut off the tractor to do some manual work, jumped back on the tractor and she wouldn't crank. I get the normal oil, battery and glow plug lights but the starter doesn't even engage. First...

    Extened Warranty

I received a reminder in the mail yesterday that my factory warranty on my B3200 is about to expire. "Call to get your extended warranty today!" almost 2 years in and less than 60 hours on the machine. I can't see a reason to get one, unless a certain model is known for a certain failure?

    B3200 won't start!

I had something similar happen to me 2 nights ago on my B3200. Make sure both of your PTO's are in the off position. The trick for me was that apparently my big winter boots bumped the FEL lock device, located behind the reverse pedal. If I was you, go out to the tractor, jiggle that small...

Rear Blade Snow Removal - What are your tricks?

Burt - That's what I do not get with my B3200....I don't think I can "lock" the 3-point into one position. (I'm thinking of the old Ford tractors that you could). When I asked the Kubota dealer, he said "I guess that's only available on the bigger ones" I have adjustable stops on my 3-point...

Rear Blade Snow Removal - What are your tricks?

First winter with the Kubota and I have a 72" Landpride blade. We've only had one snow storm this year so I've only had less than 1 hour of seat time. Paved driveway, 600' long. I took the advice of my father and a few old timers and had the blade in the normal setup position, but drove...

    Mowing Ditches/Banks?

I think I'll put a spoiler on the back of the tractor and see if that helps hold me down!
