what thread on rear lifting rod

Hi all, Hoping to find what thread is on the right rear lifting rod on my B2601. I bought this used and went to adjust it last week and could not adjust it in or out by hand. I disconnected the bottom and I can run it in or out very easy. The top that is connected to tractor would not budge...

    B2601 Tiller ?

Thank you and all for your thoughts. Being new and my first tractor I was very hesitant to use it for fear of hurting the tractor. Money is hard rough to come by without doing something stupid. I talked it over with my wife and we both agreed better to be safe then sorry. My plans going...

I was really concerned about the top link and PTO being that far off center. I figured that the universal joint (not sure that is correct terminology) at the end of the PTO shaft could give a little but was scared to try and use if for fear ir would hurt the shaft coming out of the tractor.

I was able t adjust without to much effort. With the BH frame I still had abut 1/4-1/2” play before it hit the frame

GreensvilleJay may be onto to something. I really wished I would have tried pulling the right pin out and putting it facing in like the left

That pic is interesting because the drawing shows exactly the way the tiller was that I had

You are correct the tun-buckle is all the way screwed I. That was my last and final attempt to try and adjust it. I should have screwed it all the way out before I Took the picture. In or out didn’t make much of a difference

Yo know I saw that and thougt of all the implements I had looked at I never saw one pin on the inside and one in the outside. I also gave some thought the was it was canted maybe it was a offset but my 2 lower control arms would not let me adjust it

Those are the only 2 pictures I had I tried to shorten the top link and the only thing that did was lower and raise the unit. It was still twisted so to speak. The top link is far from the center of the tiller which throws the whole thing off

GreensvilleJay and Russell King, Here are the 2 pictures I had taken before I took it back. The unit is hooked up. As you can see the top link is way off center. It's my thinking that where it is welded tothe frame of the tiller that it should be in the center. The hook up standing behgind...

I brought it home and am afraid I can't use it. I hooked it up toothe 3 point and it is cray crooked. The top ling goes one way and the PTO shaft goes the other. They almos form a X I have tried every way to adjust it but am really concerned about the top link being some 4 inches off center...
