    Problem keeping BX2380 running

Thank you. It just wasn't going. It wasn't a splice thing...it was the splines on the shaft thing that goes from the deck to the tractor. He had it in the back of the truck to bring the "broken pos" up to the shop tomorrow. When I saw what it was, I put my magical hands on it, 🤭slowly turned it...

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

Okay, so apparently I was wrong...(communication issue AGAIN). He only changed the front fuel filter. He bought them both but only changed the one. So he took off the deck and just changed the rear filter...or the one that is hard to get to. It seems to be running okay now. Like most of you...

The garage is open. He wasn't in there...he just left it running to come into the house for a minute...and to see if it would stay running.

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

The engine starts. Then it kind of sputters. He left it running in the garage and came into the house. It sounded like it shut off but when he went out, it was still running, just sputtering. It sputtered really low, then high, then cut off. I know I am not using the proper terminology. I'm sorry.

It isn't the red circle...I changed it because someone above said PTO. What came off causing the arm to fall is what I circled in blue.

To answer your questions, it is the PTO and yes he has tried driving it with nothing engaged. Same issue.

That is the arm that came loose/off causing that side to fall to the ground.

It was one of the arms, not the cylinder. He said it was the arm that is adjustable. It is a mid-mount mower, not the kind you pull behind, if that makes a difference.

    Problem keeping BX2380 running

Okay, as my handle suggests, I am a clueless wife. I am also a wife ready to put her husband in an indefinite time out if he doesn't figure out this problem he is having with his BX2380 Kubota. It is 2 years old and has less than 50 hours on it. It is used strictly for cutting 2 acres of grass...
