    I did the same and found metal flakes around the HST oil filter and now wondering if the HST is cooked???

    Yes, I've verified everything is connected properly up to the HST. However I just re-emptied the HST fluid and pulled the HST oil filter and see flecks of metal on and around where the oil filter resides... so I assume something is broken internally in the HST???
