I found some wider tires online For the rear 26-14.00-12 and for the front 18-10.50-10. These would add 2" in width to all four tires (8" total) which considering I currently only have a total 41" of width across all four tires which should reduce ground pressure per square inch by about 20%...

I don’t know how hard you can push on the backhoe sideways without breaking something but you could apply a tremendous amount of force to the pin this way. I wonder if by doing this you could get the pin to break lose before something else broke or bent.
