Stalling tractor when using posthole digger

The larger auger seems to just to center it's self in the smaller hole and follows on down. Always centers up, never had an issue with it wanting to wonder off center. Similar to enlarging a hole when drilling material with a twist drill bit.

How long did it take you to break the plastic grille?

About 6 months. Grapple work, stacking brush/limbs on the burn pile when a limb pushed against the plastic grill causing a minor break. Then I added steel expanded-metal to fit in the open spaces in the factory guard.

    Possible ZD331 or ZD323 Purchase

I purchased a 60" ZD331 new about 10 years ago. It has about 700 hours on it. No issues with it. The handles are stiff on the ZD331. The ZD331 doesn't cut as good as other makes in my opinion. I just bought my wife a new 2024 model Z242 that has a Kawasaki engine. It cuts better than the big...

    Bad Belt Latch

I tapped mine a bunch then sprayed compressed air inside and then finally sprayed PB Blaster in it and everything started to work again. Lubricant had no affect on the plastic.

    Rusty Bucket

Ospho is great. If it leave a gray powdery residue when it dries, brush or wash it off with mineral spirits before painting. Obviously with use of bucket, all the painting efforts are negated.

    Daily Chuckle

I'm only 71 but my father in law told me when he was young and walking to school he would take his pocket knife and cut off the frozen milk that was sticking out of the bottles on neighbor's porches and placing the cap back.

    Stump Grinder

Bobnic, I'm surprised the magnet doesn't fall off while grinding. I'm considering a camera but was thinking I would mount it on the rear of the tractor. Gives me something to think about.

    Stump Grinder

I too have the Woodland Mills Stump Grinder, which looks identical to the MechMaxx. I love mine but it can tax your neck muscles from looking backwards and down as you move front and back making cuts. Mine is used on a MX5100, with no issues. I've ground about 30 stumps and have not even...

    Steel T-Posts

I have used old T-posts for projects and found that cobalt bits (HSS with 5% cobalt) cut very well. Not that expensive over good HSS bits.
