Since the 3-point hitch is nearly impossible to find, has anyone put a sleeve hitch on a G1800? Something like this?

I used Rustoleum gloss, and the color is Almond.

Well, the wheels are finished! Painting rig suspended from the ceiling. Mounted the new tires yesterday, and put them on the tractor this afternoon.

I was able to get the tires off with 2 flat screwdrivers and a flat bar. I did order a set of tire spoons to use for the rest (dismounting the other tire and mounting the 2 new ones). After doing it once, I think it will be easier with the right tools.

I checked mine, and it's just dry rotted. The whole sidewall is leaking, so I ordered 2 new front tires (4-ply) and a set of tire spoons. I did get the rubber off the rim with flat screw drivers, but it was no fun! Rim is in good shape. I may go around the edge of the rim with a file and...

Tractor is running great. Secret sauce was a squirt of wd-40 on the connections around the starter, and she fired right up! Life is good! 😊 Oh, and thanks for all of the suggestions for the solution. I'm sure I'll be needing more as I put this thing to work!

Thanks! The seller gave me some manuals with the machine. But I think eyeballs on the wires should be sufficient for my first wave of attacks. I'll disconnect the battery, check the connections, and squirt my trusty "electrical connection cleaner" spray on everything. If that doesn't fix it...
