I just split my l2800 and installed a new 4wd gear and Main gear on the spiral bevel shaft. I applied the gears in the correct sequence. I then put all three shafts in place and installed the intermediate housing but the spiral bevel gear is rather hard to rotate and the countershaft/PTO also...
