Called Anthony at Summitt and that apparently is the issue. Ordered the Power Beyond adaptor sleave. Expect that will solve it, I hope.

OK. I installed the summit hydraulic directional control with the joy stick. Loader works great, but 3 point hitch will not work unless I bypass the loader by disconnecting the input from the loader and only using the 3 point. Suggestions??

Thanks for the information. Now I know what I have--old style. Can't find locally. Well...I am going to have to modify my philosophy of trying to repair instead of joining the "throw away crowd." I ordered a whole new PTO shaft with shield for a total of $81. Got to move on. Thanks for the help.

I do want to get an entire new PTO shield, not the parts. But I can't find one that fits a smooth yolk. See the differences in the two yolks in the attached pictures. The entire shields I have found fit the yolk with the grove. I have other PTOs like that, and I have found full shields for them...

Anybody know where I can get a replacement shield for a PTO like the attached pictures depict. I have not found any that will attach as shown. Don't know brand. The shields I see online attach differently. This one just hooks over the end of the shaft. I hate to buy a whole new PTO shaft.
