The left over L4600 is $3000.00 more than a current model L3901. The L4600 is about 8 additional horsepower, over the L3901, a 4 cyl vs 3 cyl. The L3901 has all the new emissions stuff on it while the L4600 does not. I was originally looking to buy a L3800 but there are n more of them...

Yes I have been told the same - however the tractors I am looking at - the "L" series are all over 26 HP. I was told that is one of the major reasons the RTV engine has been kept under 26 HP. The additional stuff affects performance and price. Thanks Dan

I am brand new here - looking at buying my first Kubota tractor. I was trying to avoid the new emissions stuff required on the diesel engines. I located a "left over" brand new L4600. The brochure says that the L4600 has a new 4 cyl diesel engine that meets the EPS's interim Tier4...
