    Best attachment for removing pine needles?

    I have burned in place. The few pines we have the lower branches have been removed so you can walk under them and they are not located in our “manicured “ lawn area. I do this with the oak leaves occasionally also. Of course we live out in the country.

    Replacing mower blades - 1880

    I can’t believe how well the original Kubota blades have lasted. Mine look almost new after 2 seasons and we have sandy soil and really don’t need a sharpening yet, though they will get a touch up. Other blades would be dull half way through one season.

    Top picture almost looks like the top from an early Blazer, if that is what the original ones were called. But I thought those were fiberglass.

    BX Dually??

    i attacked this three ways on my BX2680. Easiest was filling the tires with liq. Then I got some old 35# wheel weights and converted them to 50# weights.     Is getting a tiller worth it?

    When I was an early teenager 50 some years ago, my dad had me use this to till our 20x40 garden. Wasn’t as nice as the picture but it did work well even though the operator wore out!

    Adapting JD 54” quick attach to BX2680

    Got to use the blade last week when we got a whopping 4” of snow. First use of the blade since I adjusted the blade to set more vertical Last year. Worked much better. Only place it kind of dug up stone was in some patchwork I did where the stone was loose.

    I’m just happy that I can go in reverse when mowing and the blades don’t cut out like on some other garden tractors I’ve had.

    Opossum, the North American marsupial. I actually like opposum. Pretty much harmless. Now raccoons are another story.
