When the wind blows too hard

That would give you the torque that the tower needs to withstand at the base. There would have been more down if it had hit further south

When the wind blows too hard

They do but that only protects them up to a point.

    Microwave oven

Thinking I'll scrap it. It's a 2010 MC appliance model. Only reason I want to keep it is that it will need new braketry. It's a shame that there isn't an industry standard for over the stove mount microwaves. John T, your thumbnail cracks me up in the context of an electrical thread.

    Microwave oven

My microwave quit working. Went blank when the cooking cycle was done. I put a new fuse in it. After 1 2 minute cycle and 1 1 minute cycle the new fuse blew. Is there anything I should try before I scrap the microwave?

I mowed today and felt kinda bad about it

I only have a few spots of clover in my lawn. I'll try to let it go to seed. This fall I might try to get more of it seeded.

    Spike seeder

How do you think it would work on grass that only gets mowed every year or 2? I could mow it before I plant and scuff it with a harrow disk. If I got a deal on a no till drill I'd keep it and do food plots with it. I currently broadcast that and run over it with a cultipacker. Broadcast didn't...

    Spike seeder

Does anyone have experience using a spike seeder? I would like to get dutch white clover established in my lawn which is under 2 acres and alfalfa in a similar sized patch behind my lawn. A slit seeder would probably be better for the lawn and a no till 3 point drill would be better for the...

    Hey Jeep Guy's.

In the mid 90s I had a 75 cj5 with the 304 and a 3 speed manual. 1st was too high for serious off road. No sway bars. I had it on 2 wheels once and half rolled half endoed it into a ditch. Roll bar worked. We pulled it back onto it's wheels and the only damage was to the soft top. Kind of a...

    What’s up?

If they don't make your eyes water when you get a finger caught in it, you'll probably lose them.

    Daily Chuckle

At a company where i used to work they did manual injection molding. The molds were assembled, with the wiring harness and connector and someone would come around and fill them with a 2 part compound (coanthane 1556 IIRC). They had refurbished an old mixing machine. In addition to having a...

Why are 3-point PTO driven sprayers so expensive?

Probably not a ton of volume. Most grain farmers run north of 100 feet of boom. Hobby farmers tend to use a sprayer that's decades old or hire it out. There are probably places that rent them out as well.

    PTO shaft stuck on implement

What part of it is stuck? Are the splines rushed together or is the retaining button stuck?

    Is there a vacuum

I used to have a neighbor who was a landscaper. He had a vacuum made for rocks but it was not 3ph it had its own engine, and I doubt that it was cheap.
