    BX SnowPusher

I found a 8' Myers plow mounted on a skid steer quick hitch for my FEL. Hopefully the shoes will keep it out of the lawn sod. My driveway is concrete and asphalt so I can do a pretty good job with my hyd. back blade. When moving snow piles, the FEL bucket isn't wide enough and is hard to...

    Kubota 7030

Sorry. I understood the first Kubota large farm tractors were a combination of Fiat and Kubota. It has a lot of Fiat features, PTO hand clutch, PTO, 4WD and super low levers by left foot. Regardless, it is a nice tractor, we just don't need 70hp anymore.

    Kubota 7030

This is an older tractor made by Fiat with a Kubota motor and 16 speed trans. It has 2 sets of remotes and the Quckie loader works off one set. It has front and rear locking differentials. Tires are 70%. Tin is straight and not rusted, don't believe it has ever been in manure. No blow by and...

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

Got everything full and ran the tractor for 3 hours, both 4wd and 2wd, no oozing yet. I believe I'll use the 00 oil/grease to fill everything, it pours.

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

OK, that looks like my front end. I haven't found a 6m bolt to remove the air venting plug under the zerk, so I haven't checked that oil level yet. Is there a "level check plug" there? or do you just fill it? So far the only thing that was low was the axel and I don't see any leaking/oozing...

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

M 7030 DT sn 71162 engine sn 40304 Is there a full plug for the reservoir under the zerk fitting. How do you know if it is full?

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

I have some 75-140 gear oil rather than corn head grease. I am going to pull the grease fitting and see if that is low too. Not sure where you check the level. I was surprised when I took the fill/check plug out of the axel, there was a vacuum in the axel. I have added about 1 1/2 quarts...

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

I found the axel was low on oil and added 75-90 gear oil. I am not using the tractor much so will see how much oil it is leaking. Do I dare use corn head grease in that front axle in an attempt to stop the oozing? I have attached a picture, it shows the drain plug and the fill/level plug...

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

I am going to make a trip to my local dealer and try to get a look at the 7030 parts book. If that fails, I'll contact Mesick's.

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

The illustrations in my manuals are very poor. My front hub looks different from the illustration. There is a plug in the bottom and a plug half way (14mm) up and it looks like a plug surrounded by a large sq. nut higher up. I took the 14 mm plug out and had gear oil flowing out. It appears...

    M7030 Front Wheel Leaking Oil

My old M7030 is ozzing oil around the left front wheel (over the winter it leaked +/- 1/4 pint). I am presuming a seal has failed. I have a shop manual and it doesn't mention replacing a seal. Is this a DIY project or is it a major job? One thing I haven't figures out is the zerk grease...

Time to Replace the Long Landtrac 470.

Yes, the term bulldozer was hyperbole. The tractor is mostly used to maintain roads along with a HD back blade. I use a tractor as a tractor not a lawn toy! I've had the poor Long standing on one front tire when moving mud. How does the MX series compare to the M? Not sure I want a...

Time to Replace the Long Landtrac 470.

I need a 50 hp tractor/fel that will handle a Farmi, work as a bulldozer, brush hog and plow snow. Which Kubota is actually a 50 hp UTILITY tractor?

    Hydraulic Problems with a M7030.

Woodsman, I was going to stick a meat thermometer in the dip stick hole to check temp. I think the normal operating temp is 113-131F. Figured 200 would be hot!

    Hydraulic Problems with a M7030.

1/2 to 1/4 so I can put gauge in the remotes.
