Received my new voltage regulator today and installed it and my mower is back. The mower never threw a code until the last time I tried to run it and it was really bad, too much voltage! Hope this helps anyone else that can’t seem to find out why one’s mower won’t run properly

Mower threw a code of PO563, voltage? Could it be the voltage regulator?

    Kubota Z781KWI nightmare

Yes, both plugs, twice, adjusted the valves, new fuel filter, new fuel pump, air filters, one ignition coil(waiting on the other), the only other thing I can think of is the voltage regulator, this morning it threw a code of PO563

Checked out the wires from the voltage regulator and what I could see in the harness and did not see any damage, even moved wires around while running. It was surging the whole time and no change while moving them. I do appreciate the suggestion, thx

    Kubota Z781KWI nightmare

Bought this used a couple months ago with 98 hrs on it. First couple of weeks all is good, but then one day while mowing I cut the blades off and the mower start “missing, surging” it would go from 2300 rpms to 1300 and back up again and again. So I changed the fuel filter and plugs, no change...

    Fuel in oil

Got the injector pump changed in my L3940 and it cured my problem of fuel getting into the crankcase. I asked my mechanic about the fact I used seafoam in my fuel when I serviced it and his reply was that it probably didn’t cause the failure but attributed to it in his opinion, I’ll never use it...

Low power output for Zero Turn Z231KH

Those coils will delaminate due to moisture and this will cause them to miss, the last time I replaced the coils on my Tank I rubbed them down with WD-40, 3 yrs so far so good! I store my mowers and tractors under cover but that doesn’t stop the natural condensation!

    Z781I zero turn

I don’t believe it’s my brake linkage, this morning I unhooked the fuel line on the inlet side of the fuel filter, fuel from the tank was present and running from the line. I hooked a short piece of line to the filter and placed it in a quart can full of fuel, it wouldn’t pull enough fuel to...

    Z781I zero turn

I blew out the line again and this time I applied air pressure to tank with the filter off and got a solid stream of fuel. Hooked all back up and started the mower and while running applied some air pressure to the tank but only got a trickle of fuel in the filter, what am I missing?

I blew out the line and it’s open, but the fuel filter this morning was not full and it appears the lift maybe has taken a dump, I blew the line out several times but it will not fill the filter now. Could it be it has lost prime?

    Z781I zero turn

I will try blowing the pickup line out, another thing is this one is injected not carburetated, so the fuel line is under a higher pressure. My problem is rpm related and doesn’t matter if it’s under load

    Z725 Stalling out

I have a cub tank 60 with a Kawasaki 31 hp, it is stored outside but under cover. About every 2-3 yrs it will start running crappy, have found out to be the coil packs, moisture gets to them and they start to de-laminate, replace them and runs like new
