Buying several Kubota tractors, building a Camp, and maintaining 69 acres of recreational/hunting property.

Very smart. I had to run up 95 north of the Baltimore area last week for work; it was a miserable drive.

That's a heck of a trip!! I know exactly where you were in Zion Crossroads. We'll occasionally go down that way to get on 64 when we head to her parents' place in Powhatan. We avoid 95 like the plague between us and Richmond if we can help it. I also much prefer the "back roads" as there's...

    A truck and trailer thread.

Looks Good! We had to do something similar on my dad's truck. I used the same glass guy we use on our fleet. They came to the shop and popped the old one out, saw the rust and corrosion from the poor install, and left me with some instructions and primer. I cleaned it up really well, primed...

Some places much further west of us got 1-3" earlier today. I loved snow until about 3 years ago, when we had our son, and daycare being open is dependent on the weather :ROFLMAO:. Now, I like a good conversational snow, covers the grass, makes for a great backdrop, and then is gone in a day.

The cheap glass the local shops use is still typically better than what Safelite uses. My dad had a '99 Silverado that had a windshield change before he bought it in '18ish. That thing forever had a wind noise I could not locate until one day I was driving it in the rain and saw a small drop...

Is a local glass shop doing the F-250 windshield, or Safelite? If through Safelite, I would recommend looking for a local glass shop and working with them. Safelite uses the cheapest, thinnest windshields with techs that hardly have any training at all. We had nothing but problems with them...

The tailgate does not have a typical latch handle configuration like you're probably imagining. There is a button that signals an actuator inside the gate to release the latches and lower. The same system has been in use in SUV lift-gates for at least a decade.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I went up to PA a few weeks ago and picked up a Kwik-Way plow to mount/rig up to my B. Won't snow this year, and I'm ok with that.

I'm about the same, paid $2.99 to top the tank off 6 weeks ago. Hoping the addition of the fireplace insert and re-insulating the attic late last winter pays off in spades. The insert really pumped out some heat and the furnace barely ran, which was really nice. I was in the neighborhood of...

My brother moved near a rural king about 7 years ago, it's such an amazing store. Like a Walmart and TSC had a baby but more of the TSC then Walmart. My box blade came from them, absolute best price around, even when looking at used ones at the time. Batteries are pretty much all made by...

Suspension Seat on a Zero Turn?

My SCAG Turf Tiger had a solid seat. Picked up a parts mower mainly for the suspension seat, night and day difference in cutting my 5 acres. If I hadn't scored the parts mower for what I did, I was going to to do one of the options already listed in this thread.

    Amazon third function kit

When I was shopping for my 3rd function, I found the actual kit from Summit on Amazon. I went to their site for more info, and it's a couple of bucks cheaper to buy it directly. Summit also offers a discount for OTT members; that info is listed over in the vendors section.

    Found : 7x16 car Hauler

Most utility-type trailer owners' manuals I've come across are very, very sparse with any info. You're best bet for any info would be to figure out what axles are under it and find literature from them.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I went and took in the last few pages of the photo shoot thread and got pretty caught up. I've been turning wrenches since high school at the local garage, then moved into the fleet world. May '26 will be 20 years. I spend most of my time behind the desk now, unfortunately, but I fully...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Being as you turned wrenches, I'm pretty confident you can figure out how to install the 3rd function. I did mine in an evening, pretty straightforward. Maybe I missed it in another thread, but why the sudden departure from turning wrenches and career change to an OtR truck driver?
