    Gottit. thanks. Was just curious about the screw/locknut vs shim situation. Would you even use shims on a relief valve that has the screw adjustment? If so, why?

    thanks for the reply 85Hokie. in troubleshooting mode right now. Old Hokie has replied as well so I'm trying not to spend crazy money on relief valves unless I have to.

    Yes. I see now what you are talking about for the tractor PRV. so i will use the shims for that one. On the BH77 the PRVs for the swing and boom controls it has screws/locknut. would you use shims on that or could they be adjusted with the locknut and screw? The backhoe will not lift the back...
