Water temp gauge needles points straight south

When my Kubota L2650 came out of the shop for a new clutch, I found the water temperature gauge needle was inoperative. Instead of being between HOT and COLD, the needle was out of the range of motion, pointing downward. The last thing I want to do is bring it back to these guys who redid my...

Reinstalled FEL - now it won't lift!

Of all the stupid things ... It turns out there is a screw on the front hydraulic block that rotates about 90 degrees between the Open and Closed position. Apparently my ag tech actually read my WSM and turned it to the Closed position which still allows the three-point hitch to work, just not...

Reinstalled FEL - now it won't lift!

I'm not sure what a rockshaft is, but the two drawbars on the 3-pt hitch lift up and down as designed. I ahve cycled the lever back/forth/up/down for about 10 minutes straight without success. I can get it the bucket to move about 1" back and forth and that's it.

Reinstalled FEL - now it won't lift!

My L2650 tractor was just split and a PTO gear changed. To save some expense of the ag tech doing it, I removed my front end loader and left it at the house. I have it physically back on but it won't go up, though I can stop the arms from lowering and the bucket from turning face down. I know...

    L2650 - Clutch or PTO?

Broken splines on the PTO gear. Now the ag tech, who admitted after he had split the tractor that he never worked on a Kubota before, left me with a whole bunch more problems, like, the temp gauge needle points straight south after he removed the dash, bolts are missing everywhere, loader bolts...

    L2650 - Clutch or PTO?

No, I don't believe it does. I do know that it isn't equipped for a belly mower and the only place to hook up a spinning implement is in back. Does that help?

    L2650 - Clutch or PTO?

Vic, The 3-point hitch issue was hydraulic and is working now. Thanks!!! The bigger issue is still the PTO lever jumping out of the engaged position and the force is so great it can't be tied down or even held with my foot. It stays engaged and spins fine with no implement, but is knocking...

    L2650 - Clutch or PTO?

So, if that canister is empty, we just fill it with fluid and put it back on and that is the priming process? Uh-oh. Isn't the canister the dark gray one hanging down on the right side of the tractor? And if I get one of those cams, what exactly am I looking for and where do I stick it in...

    L2650 - Clutch or PTO?

You're just full of good news, aren't you, Vic? :) And what's a "schwack"? ... Regarding the full range of motion of the PTO lever -- it goes easily between the 1100 setting and the 540 setting with neutral seeming to be exactly where it is supposed to be. Removing the cover plate and...

    L2650 - Clutch or PTO?

Well, I finally had the money and found an ag guy to work on my L2650. I bought a dual clutch off ebay and had him put it in and ... it didn't work. The PTO lever still jumps out of the 540 RPM position back to neutral with a light knocking sound when the PTO is engaged. Worse, now the hitch...

That fluid filler thingee at the back PTO

L2650 - It has a sight-glass by the clutch pedal with a HIGH and a LOW mark to see if the hydraulic fluid is at the proper level. There is a filler hole right in front of the seat to adjust this level. So what is the purpose of having another filler hole above the PTO? Aren't they tied...

    L2250D Dual Stage Cluch Replace

Anyone? Rusty? Vic? I can't find this tool anywhere online. Is it necessary for a dual stage clutch?

But before I tear into it and split it, will I need special tools, vic?

    L2250D Dual Stage Cluch Replace

So what did you find out? I have a L2650 facing the same issue. Did you have to buy both tools? If yes, where?
