Bought a lighter pallet forks for my 1880. Those skid steer forks were to heavy for my tractor.

Thanks for the tip. 44 lbs is what my scale showed. Weighed only one. Met Matt, the owner. Nice guy. Talked a bit. Shipping is whats killing him on cost but most businesses are in the same boat. These forks are well welded and paint job is great. Big difference on weight compared to the skid...

I went with the 36. Dont have a way to weigh anything that heavy. Will check around to see if someone around me has something to weigh heavy items. just looked at your post showing the weight. I should have something to weigh them. Thought they would be heavier.

Pick my forks up tomorrow at Redline. Now to sell my skid steer forks.

Glad this thread turned out good for the OP. My current skid steer forks are a bit to heavy for my 1880. Had a pucker moment today. Looked at titan and redline. Looked up redline and they are about 2 hours from me. Theirs seem lighter than titan. Thanks for posting this thread OP.

Don’t mean to intrude but is this a BX issue overall or specific models?

RCW is right. Did it to me on my 1880. I just raise all the way up. The 3 point I noticed goes up all the way first, then the deck. Might have to play around with the knob a little. Let us know how it goes.

The BX line of tractors don’t get much credit here. Great machines for the jobs needed on small acreage. Now if I had 25 acres, I would be owning a lot larger Kubota. It may take a little longer to get the job done but the job does get done. Enjoying mine.

Need to win the lottery for another tractor. Maybe a dedicated mower down the road but my 1880 cuts grass soooo good I doubt it.

Don’t think I would try one. I have a kind of deep ditch to mow Besides my yard. Thought about it before getting my 1880 but needed something for snow removal and a loader For moving dirt around. Was my 1st time removing and putting it back on so hope future movement gets easier.

Have you looked at Craigslist or Facebook marketplace? Most of my attachments were bought on craigslist. Save a lot of cash. My new forks cost me $600. I picked them up not to far away.
