It had a puff at start up before, and still does. I never noticed a lot of smoke before or after the turbo but the tractor hasn't seen any heavy loads yet. I'll let you know when it does.

According to google AI it should restore the 20% lost to elevation and give an additional couple HP on top of that, assuming a 4.5 psi boost. Yes all I wanted was to restore the lost power and it is VERY noticeable.

I did not touch the fuel settings or anything else. Installed it and ran it. I did install a pyrometer yesterday and ran it briefly and EGT's completely normal for what I was doing.

I just bought and installed this turbo (L2501) and I just can't give it enough praise. I'm at close to 7000' elevation and this is an entirely different tractor now. It pulls 2 gears higher and just sounds much happier. But what I really can't say enough about is the quality and craftsmanship...
