    Daily Chuckle

Don't know if this has been posted before - Letter from farm kid after joining the military: Dear Ma and Pa: I am well. Hope you are. Tell Brother Walt and Brother Elmer the Marine Corps beats working for old man Minch by a mile. Tell them to join up quick before all of the places are...

I am so angry right now

Our children have grown and our pets are now like our children. They are part of our family and bring us joy and companionship. I feel for you and your wife, and are in our prayers.

    80% lowers

I have built an AR-15 and a AR-10 using 80% polymer lowers. Fairly easy using a drill press. Always check and double check before making cuts and remember to go slow. Some kits are better than others. I used Polymer 80 kits - decent instructions and the drill bits and end mill are included along...

Trying To Identify Tiller To Buy Parts

Rezzey - I extended the lower lift points about 8 inches forward using 3" x 3/8" steel flat bar. I welded the extensions in place and reversed the lift pins from pointing in to pointing out. I purchased a new pto shaft and cut it down to fit. I can use it without further modifications, but can't...

    Modifying My Trailer ???

I used a pair of jack stands until I got stung by wasps that had nests under the edge of my trailer. I welded trailer jacks on the rear corners. They have both pins and screw jacks. Works well for me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    L3800 Known Starting Issue?

I may not know what I'm talking about, but I don't have to sit on the seat to crank my L2800. I don't see the seat switch being the problem. It may be a coincidence that it starts after you bounce on the seat. Bypassing the seat switch would help narrow the problem and eliminate the seat switch...

    Let it snow!

Down here in Bama, we get a few inches and it shuts down everything. When it starts snowing, the stores get raided - everyone getting milk and bread - like its gonna last for a week. I can't recall any lasting more than a couple of days. You guys up north have your work cut out for ya. Sent...

Disk Harrow - What type of bearings?

Sealed bearings are the way to go. Friction bearings used to be the only ones you'd find on a disc due to their durability, but now the sealed bearings are just as rugged and a lot less maintenance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Should I add diesel fuel conditioner in winter for L3800

I second the Power Service additive. I use it year round and never had any problems - just peace of mind. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Trying To Identify Tiller To Buy Parts

Yep - it is one of the RS series Tillers. Looks just like my RS1351 Tiller. You probably would be better off replacing the pto shaft completely rather than replacing the universal joints. I ran into the same problem. It was easier for me to replace the pto shaft - I got one a little longer as...

    people with tillers question

It has been my experience, that as long as you don't have a lot of tall grass or long vines - using the tiller will be ok. If there are tall grass or vines, then you will spend more time cleaning out the tines than it would to use a disc first to chop it up. I personally like to use a turning...

    Sta-bil??

I use Sta-bil in all of my small engines - weed eater, lawnmower, chainsaw, generator and ect. Helps with cranking and keeps it smooth running. I highly recommend it - especially when storing equipment. Never used it in an automobile though.

    disc question

I pull a 6-1/2 disc behind my L2800 - I have to use 4wd as well - but I don't have any problems. I don't think you will have any with that disc.
