This one was bad too not quite as much plastic in the bearing but still some and the grease was all still full of dirt and looked like mud. What a mess that definitely motivates me to take care of my equipment better than the previous owner of this thing did. Dave

Got the other two spindles bearings pressed out and one set of bearing races installed and have to put the rest of them in and then press everything back together. Here are some pictures so far. Dave

    L185 switch question

Russell, I pulled the knob off and found a threaded collar fitting that tightens against the dash metal just like you described. So a few turns with some pliers and it was good as new. Thanks for the reply Dave

    L185 switch question

Thanks for the info yes the knob has two sections that protrude out to turn it by. I do recall the set screw in the side of the knob I will remove that and see what I can figure out. Thanks Dave

Thanks I am glad someone likes reading about it thought I might be boring everyone to death. I like reading others post and stories as soon as I get some parts I will be back to work on the mower for it. Dave

Thanks Matt I am really liking the tractor so far it is a tough little guy. And the press is the best tool I have invested in just used it to press out and in some Polaris wheel bearings worked great. Dave
