    B4200D Clutch & Pressure Plate

Question on this, on the upper drawing, item 120, bearing dry, is this what is being referred to as the guide bushing? Also, I see item 110 is and oil seal, do I have to pull the seal to get to item 120, the dry bearing? If so, then it would seem that I change that too, no? Thank you in advance!

    B4200D Clutch & Pressure Plate

Greetings All & Happy Holidays! I'm getting ready to order a replacement clutch and pressure plate in my '89 B4200D, it's totally shot and the tractor has hard time moving, even on a perfect flat and smooth surface. While I'm in there (famous last words), is there anything else that you folks...

    B4200 w/Transmission Problems

Hello All, I spent a lot of the weekend trying to resurrect my '87ish B4200D. I got the engine running, no problem there. I pulled the plug on the transmission (geared) and out comes the water, lots of it, like at least a gallon. This tractor has been sitting for 6 years, so I have no idea...

    Drive Over Belly Mower

Hello All, What year did Kubota start making the "drive over" belly mowers? Can they be adapted to earlier tractors? Just to clarify, I'm talking about the belly mowers that you drive the tractor over them to mount them up, and vice versa. My brother-in-law has one, believe his is a 2012...

    Recommended Engine Oil

This forum is starting to sound like some of the forums that I participate in, just answer the mans question! I believe the recommended oil for a tractor of that vintage is 10w-30, it may even say so right on the oil fill cap, raised letters and numbers cast into the aluminum. I'm using Shell...

    Dynamo Bearings

I have a B4200D tractor and it uses part number 15973-6401-0, that's still an active and valid part number. This dynamo uses NSK 6201Z bearings, sealed units, two of them. Thought you would like to know.

    B4200 Dynamo Froze Up

I have a B4200D tractor and the dynamo part number is 15973-6401-0, it's still and active and valid part number. Let the record reflect that this dynamo/alternator/water pump uses NSK 6201Z bearings, they are sealed bearings as you would expect in this application. And I still have to buy a...

    B4200 Dynamo Froze Up

Thanks for the reply, sometimes I forget to do searches when I'm in the heat of the moment. I'll give Lashley a call tomorrow to see what they get for a new one. The bearing replacement sounds cheap, if you can get the bearings out. It was charging just fine, just doesn't spin anymore. I'm...

    B4200 Dynamo Froze Up

I had a belt fail and the engine in my B4200 (1989, diesel, geared, 4wd) get hot and blow the whistle. Upon inspection it would seem that the dynamo has frozen, is this common? You see where the belt kept spinning on that pulley and eventually broke. The dynamo was initially frozen, but after...

    Block Heater

Totally get what you're saying, but magnetic heaters that I have found have had a thermostat control.
