I agree. A welded bearing is unusual. But I'm that unlucky person its happened before.

Going to take it in to kubota dealer on the 10th. I'm just trying to fix what's in my capabilities. I split the tractor 2 years ago to swap a seal and remove a spacer. Splitting is doable but doing it on a gravel drive is not on my list of want to do.

I was jumping from tractor to 550g crawler. Tractor was at 2k rpm in neutral with the FEL fully up and 3 point was fully up and locked out to stay up when it happened.

Starter removed and tried at flywheel but no movement there. Rear PTO spins 1in. No mid PTO that I could see just plate cover.

Pulled injectors and glowplugs still only 1/4 turn

Fel was up and 3 point was up when arc occurred immediately shutting engine off at 2000rpm in netural. -Tried to start, only got single grind so I clamped clutch turned manualy only getting 1/4in Checked slow fuses to mini fuses. None blown. (Did replace ignition since I had one on shelf)...
