    Yes, they were out of phase, running great now, thanks. Picked this tractor up a few months ago, with no manual, just put the deck on a week ago and had this noise, fine now, and ordered a on now. Thanks

    Thinking of trying to find someone with the same type of PTo shaft, not sure they are all the same, but don’t think so, calling a dealer tomorrow to see if they have one could use.

    have a b2301 with a 60" mid mount deck, with the pto engaged and the deck in the up position it runs and sounds as it should, as soon as I lower the deck ,again with the pto on, I get a very bad noise as I move forward and start mowing the noise stops.
