I have thought of this but in practice I do not know if it is better or not. I think because without at least some of the lifting force of the 3 point, it might make it harder to drag.

The risk of this is small. Its relatively flat and the wheels lock into place. The other end will never be more than a few inches off ground. Im going to try and attempt this this weekend and will update the post.

Just an update on this. I ended up placing the order for the L2501 and the implements. As tempting as the two larger tractors were, i couldn't justify the additional $14,000 after factoring in the extra costs for their implements and the additional tax etc. I will just wait longer.
