I did a bit of reading, check your fuses. Looks like a blown accessory fuse can cause the shut down solenoid to not work, or even a loose wire on the shut down solenoid can do it on some models, dont know on yours though. So while you're lookin at it, check fuses and wire connections to the fuel...

3300 won't stop with key anymore

I'd look on the injection pump. Thats where they are on a lot of diesels anyways. I just figured if it could shut off with a key, it would havta have a shut off solinoid:confused:.

What are zennoh and gtray market tractors???

Just wondering, what are the "gray market", and Zennoh tractors exactly? I've heared that the gray markets are kabotas without the stickers and orange paint, and have a lower price tag. Is this true?

3300 won't stop with key anymore

I re-read your last post, so its harder to start now since you'v been using the manual shut down lever. Now im kinda wondering if the ignition switch may have a problem.. Just another possibility, maybe the ignition switch aint turning the fuel solinoid off, and is'nt telling the glow...

3300 won't stop with key anymore

On some diesels anyway, the manual shut off and electric shut off of course do the same thing, but are two seperate devices. The manual shut down is a valve that cutts off the fuel either on the injection pump or atleast inline with it. The electric solinoid shut down (on some diesels anyways)...

I dont know a lot about these tractors, but just as a thought, your shut off solinoid might be stuck open, or part way open. Does it seem to be runnin ok once its running? Not acting like its starving for fuel or anything? Just thinking it might not be stuck open enough to let a sufficient...

    M9000 engine shutting off

Just thought I'd give you guys an update. Figured out what the problem was, mechanic said the oil pump bolts or screws worked loose. Looks like the low oil pressure shut off was doin its job. There was'nt any harm done to the engine, glad it was caught in time and oil pressure looks good again...

    M9000 engine shutting off

Yea, i've even seen whole sections of wire missing on vehicles that have sat a long time, dang pack rats. What ever is shutting down the tractor has to do with the low oil pressure light. Are there any more sensors that inline with that light.

    M9000 engine shutting off

Ok, the oil is supposed to be about 2 months ago. The engine shuts down like turning the key off. it starts normly after shutting down. Air filter is new, coolant is fresh. There had been a pack rat got engine compartment at one time also, so this might be part of the problem. Are there any...

    M9000 engine shutting off

The fuel stays fresh, this tractor is used daily as a brush hogging tractor. The light still flickers before shutting down. The temp guage reads normal temps, but it does seem to act up worse at higher engine temps. The manual oil pressure guage they tested didnt seem to work, so they still...

    M9000 engine shutting off

Thanks for the replies. Ok, where should the guage be pluged in at? If the low pressure sending unit is removed, can i hook in the manual guage there or will the engine not run w/o the sending unit?
