You are correct. The LX series have a drain right at the mid pto, and on each of the rear axle housings for a total of 3.

Just did the service on our LX3310. Figured for the extra cost of a few gallons of SUDT2, why not just change the fluid when I changed the filters. Happy I did as there were some trace amounts of metals from wearing in of the gears. Cheap insurance in my opinion and doesn't really add any...

On the LX models you have a button on the dash. Set the parking brake, hit the button and the PTO will remain engaged once you leave the seat. On the newer B's you need to start with the seat flipped up to keep the PTO engaged.
