    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Outstanding. Thanks for talking me through this. Any insights re: welding on tractors? I've read that I should disconnect the battery, clamp the cables together, and be sure my ground is as close to my work as possible. Any personal experience? Should I just remove the SSQA altogether?

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Not sure where you're seeing 16-3/4". I referenced those drawings you sent (thanks btw) and looks like the plate on my bucket is a pretty close match (reads right around 16" on my yardstick which is tucked up inside the angled sleeve at the top of my plate).

You're referring to the plates on my bucket, forks, etc.. correct?

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Sort of what I'm wondering as well.. where'd be the best place to start in terms of shimming my SSQA?

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Wow. That's unreal. You've encountered that before though? Or know folks who have? Particularly with Kubotas? Forgive me if I sound skeptical. What you're describing sounds spot-on, however.. my SSQA simply appears short although there's nothing bent or abnormal to account for it. I guess...

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Can confirm. Just went out there.. those plates are flat. It's an optical illusion. Nothing appears bent, bulged, etc. Any thoughts on those measurements?

Thanks for the pics. I'm already considering the same.. just curious that my attachments have fit snug until now.

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

I measured in 4 places total, 2 on each side.. all measured 15-1/4".

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Here are some photos.. hope they're helpful. I tried to attach a video I took of me jostling my pallet forks around (which shows the pins moving relatively freely inside their respective holes on the attachment) but the site won't let me attach the movie as-is (Quicktime vid). Not sure if...

    Slop in SSQA anyone?

Hey, folks. I posted earlier tonite about the pins on my L3400 SSQA not seating fully in the rectangular holes on the plate associated with my tractor bucket. By backing the nut off on either side, I think I was able to alleviate this problem (the pins now rest on the edge of that rectangular...

    L3400 SSQA pin problems

Thanks for the quick reply. There was a development since posting my original message. I backed the nut(s) off on either side just about as far as I could without losing the threads and managed to seat the pins down further into their respective holes (see: attached). I think I was tightening...

    L3400 SSQA pin problems

Hey, folks. Wondering if anyone has any insights regarding a problem I'm suddenly having with my SSQA pins. While pushing some snow around the other day, I noticed that my bucket had a bit more "freedom of movement" on my loader's QA. Upon further inspection, I noticed that neither of the 2...
